Our Medical Professionals

Dr. Miller is a Unicoi County native.  He lives in Unicoi with his wife of 25 years, Heather, and their children, Olivia and Carson.  He is an active member of Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church.  

Dr. Miller graduated from Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine-University of Pikeville in 2003.  He completed an internship and residency at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia in May 2006.  In August 2006, he opened Unaka Internal Medicine, LLC in Erwin.  He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Miller is currently the Medical Director of Governor's Bend Assisted Living.  He also has a special interest in hospice care and is the Medical Director of Avalon Hospice in Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol.  He is also a board-member of AnewCare Collaborative, an Accountable Care Organization that is focused on providing quality and affordable care to the region's Medicare members.
